  Fire Safety Week

This week we will be learning about fire safety.  We will have a special visitor, Brock's daddy, on Friday who will help us know what to do in the event of a fire.  

A special thank you goes out to all who helped make the Lion's Fest a HUGE success!!  Our TK Cake Walk was a big hit and it was awesome to see such yummy treats & happy kiddos! A big thank you to room mom, Aubrie Holloway, for all of her hard work with the Lions Fest & creating our adorable booth. Thank you, thank you!

Think Pink ~ In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and for many of our ILCS families who have been affected by this disease, we would like to invite everyone to wear pink every Wednesday for the month of October!

Homework Folders~ Please remember  to clean out folders weekly.

Scholastic Reading Club ~ Optional. New forms sent home last Friday. Scholastic makes it easy for you to choose books that engage your child at just the right reading level for him or her—and at unbeatable values.

Oct. 10 ~ Fire Safety Presentation @ 8:30-9:15 
Oct. 13 ~ No School.  Teacher In-Service Day
Oct. 17 ~  Makeup Picture Day.  Our class will be taking a new class picture on this day.  Please have your kiddo dress nicely.  

Oct. 27- 31 ~ Spirit Week.  A very low-key, optional opportunity for kiddos to have fun (more information  to come)

Oct. 30 ~ Walking field trip to Braswell's Convalescent Hospital. Please return permission slips. Please remember to fill out both sides of the slip.

Oct. 31 ~Halloween Party Centers (more information to come)
