Hi Parents!

YAHOO! We did it! We completed the first week of distant learning. You have done an amazing job navigating Zoom, Google Classroom, LGL, and Seesaw. A huge thank you for your hard work and patience. It is greatly appreciated.

Reading Assessments
This upcoming week, we will continue to assess kiddos during the Center time block in our schedule. We will be meeting with kiddos one-on-one via Zoom. Your kiddo will use the same Zoom link that you use for our whole group live instruction (at the top of our Google Classroom page). Please see the list below for your kiddo's day and time slot for our one-on-one meet.

Tutorials
Please be sure to watch the TOOTHY tutorial located on the "TUTORIAL" tab  https://www.2ndgradeilcs.com/ . This will help your kiddo complete their upcoming reading and grammar centers.

Math Quick Checks
On Thursday, Aug. 27, your kiddo will take their first "Quick Check" AFTER our math lesson. Please be sure you DO NOT help your kiddo with the questions. We will be using these to inform our teaching and therefore need to know what your kiddo does and doesn't understand. If your kiddo needs the question read to them, encourage them to click on the speaker button and the question will be read to them. We appreciate your help with keeping these scores accurate.
