What Are We Learning This Week?

Math: Lesson 1.10: Constructing arguments. Unit 1 assessment on Tuesday and Wednesday. Will not have math homework on these two days. Begin unit 3: adding 10's & 1's on a 100's chart and open number line.

Leadership: Growth Mindset strategies: journal writing and The Path

Reading: Trouble in the Sandbox & Snowshoe Hare

Language:  Point of view, illustration details, & key details

Writing: Narrative writing~small moments 

Conventions:  Proper Nouns        
Phonics Skill:  Long vowels spelled VCe

Homework~

1.) Daily math page (Due next day).

2.) "Find the Evidence" reading worksheet (both sides). Once completed, please continue to read AR books for 20 minutes the rest of the week. (Due Friday)
3.) Behavior log signed & returned daily
