What Are We Learning This Week?

Math: Unit 6: Fluently subtract within 100. We will continue to subtract 1 & 2 digit numbers using models, to use addition to check subtraction & to solve one and two-step problems.

Science: Habitats: Researching and writing report on chosen arctic animal.

Leadership: 7 Healthy Habits

Reading:  City Green 

Language:   Details, comparing point of view, illustrations & poem structure.

Writing: Writing an informative 3 paragraph essay on "I Have A Dream".

Conventions: Formal & Informal Language

Phonics Skill: Long e spelled: e, ee, ea, y

Phonics Skill Words:  None this week. :)

Homework~

1.) Study January poem (will recite on 1/26 & 27)

2.) 20 minute reading (fill out Reado form due Friday)

3.) Work on Arctic animal representation (due 2/3)
