School-wide Competition ~
I'm so proud of our kiddos for winning our school-wide competition for being present and on time to school. The journey began in October and we were the 1st to complete the task. We received our reward on Friday. WAY TO GO! Thank you for your support!
Conferences~ Optional
I'm looking forward to meeting with some of you on Tuesday, March 8 or Wednesday, March 9. I will be sending home tests results, previous work & report cards on Friday, March 18 in an orange folder for those whom I don't meet with.
Information~
In order to avoid any confusion and/or concerns about school issues please come directly to me. I want to make sure we are all on the same page.
STEM Study~
As a 2nd grade department we had to choose one team (Hill/Rigsby or Payne/Tiss) to volunteer to participate in the University of Redlands STEM study. Because of all the changes within my and Mrs. Tiss's class during the 1st trimester, our department decided to have the Hill/Rigsby team participate in the STEM study.
Pennies 4 Peace ~
We have 2 more weeks to collect pennies/coins for our class community service project. The kiddos are doing a fantastic job donating. Keep those pennies/change coming in.

Your kiddo might want to begin working on his/her community service project soon. May is just around the corner.
