We enjoyed honoring our mothers on Thursday at our Muffins with Mom. Thank you for joining us for this very special day. I hope all of you wonderful mothers enjoyed your day and had a lovely Mother's Day weekend.
Save the Date: On Friday, June 5th we will be having our special "Donuts with Dad" celebration. Dads, please plan on joining us for a yummy donut and coffee/juice "Open-House Style" with your kiddo. You may come and go as you please between 7:45 & 8:30. If any Dads are unavailable to attend, you may send a Grandpa instead.
Exciting news! We will be having an on-sight field trip on Wednesday May 20 from 9:00- 11:00 AM with Gardenworks for Kids. Gardenworks for Kids is a non-profit organization that will visit our classroom and provide a hands-on experience with gardening and nature that the kiddos will surely enjoy. To make this a success we need your help. The TK department is asking for a $10.00 donation for each kiddo. The donation goes towards a 2 hour hands-on experience, a light snack and a bucket, shovel, and seeds. The easiest way to donate is through the school's on-line Dollar a Day program. Another option would be to write a $10.00 check to ILCS with "Dollar a Day-TK" written on the memo line. We would greatly appreciate the donations by Wednesday, May 13th.
Book Fair- The book fair will be on May 18-22 on the stage in the CSC Lion’s Den. Parents and students are welcome to visit after school from 1:00 -3:00pm. This will be a buy one book, get one free sale! It is a great opportunity to stock up for your summer reading!
