Science: Forces & Motion: The way things move, friction & inertia

Leadership: Growth Mindset 

Reading: Pioneers to the West

Language:  Text features, cause, story sequence & key details 

Writing: Opinion writing

Conventions:   Simple sentences with adverbs/adjectives, compound subjects & prepositional phrases

Phonics Skill:  Vowel Diagraphs: -oo, -ue, -ew, -ui

Homework~

1.) Math (Due next day, if your kiddo needs or wants the extra support, otherwise no math homework.)

2.) Daily 20 minute reading. Please have your kiddo read the story twice before answering questions. If kiddo is finished with reading assignment early in the week, then please have him/her read a book the rest of the week. (Due Friday.)

Language:  Main purpose, word choice, comparing text & contrasting main ideas

Writing: Opinion writing

Conventions:   Simple sentences with adverbs/adjectives/ compound subjects & expanding/rearranging sentences
